The Curry Rivel W.I. meets Thurs 14th Nov 2019 @ 10am, in the Village Hall. All are welcome, bearing in mind it is the Women's Institute. This month the guest speaker is Lu Lloyd from Pallker Art Glass — www.pallkerartglass.co.uk. The competition is a 'favourite piece of glass'.
In the last few weeks W.I. members could have participated in a guided walk, a pub lunch, a 'needles and natter' sewing afternoon, also a special craft session to create items for the recent Craft Fair and a tasty visit to Burns the Bread at Glastonbury.
Anyone interested in the kind of activities the WI proposes, or simply in hearing a range of stimulating speakers should contact the President — Anne Geach on 253078 or just turn up at a meeting.
