So far seven private gardens plus the school and the allotments have confirmed their entry into this year's event. A couple more would be great so, if you are thinking of entering, do stop thinking and start doing! Get in touch with the organisers before 7th May – email cropengardens@gmail.com.
Your garden does not need to be RHS Chelsea Flower Show standard (even RHS not so regimented any more tbh). Indeed some of the best from 2022 were mixtures of wild spaces, secluded hideaways, overgrown nature friendly corners interspersed with, of course, some nicely manicured lawns and interesting planting.
Programs/tickets will be available to buy at the fuel station and are £5 per adult – we'll let you know when they are produced – just awaiting those final few entries before going to print with the garden trail map!
Refreshments will be available at the school from 12pm and also at High Leigh in King William Lane from 2pm.
The last event was 2022 – Open Gardens runs every other year – and if you want some idea of the kind of gardens featured, click the links below:
What a bloomin' good show
