Selfish, lazy, mindless

These are some of the words that have been used to describe whoever is responsible for dumping this rubbish down Holdens Lane recently. The photos were taken by a local resident who posted them on Facebook and then brought it to the attention of the Parish and District Council who have been asked to investigate.

Often there is evidence amongst the rubbish of the person responsible and if that is the case they could risk a hefty fine or more.

This sort of behaviour thankfully is the exception as the vast majority of sensible people deal with waste and recycling in a responsible manner. The current crisis means that the recycling centres are temporarily closed but people are being asked to be patient and store their waste until normal operations resume.
