This hitherto untold story tells of the Irish poet and playwright's tragic times as he observes his own failure and regards the difficulties that beset his life with detachment and humour.
Beautifully photographed, the film has an all-star cast with some of our finest actors. It also has a great deal of comedy and wit.
Also stars: Colin Firth, Emily Watson, Colin Morgan, Tom Wilkinson & Anna Chancellor.
