RHS South West Judgement Is Nigh

South West in Bloom Judging Mon 11th July 2022

The village will be judged on Monday 11th July. We hope to have all our projects finished by then and that the village will be looking lovely. Please help us by weeding the front of your property where the wall meets the pavement, cutting grass edges and verges. Maybe put out some pretty pots. The village always looks lovely for judging day as so many villagers join in and spruce things up. Thank you everyone. If you have been involved or are just interested come along and see what's happening.

South West in Bloom Judging Day Schedule

Monday 11th July 2022

Welcome to our judges Steve Clampin & Valerie Davies

10.30 In village hall, coffee, welcome, display boards and short pp presentation.
10.45 Leave village hall to walk to St Andrews church to see flower festival.
11.05 Leave church to walk to Granny's Garden and War memorial via the railings in High Street.
11.10 Arrive Granny's Garden to see new wall and planting. Meet volunteers
11.15 Arrive war memorial. Meet volunteers, cross road to cars parked at BP garage.
11. 25 Leave via BP garage to drive to Parsonage Place, see bus stop and plantings. Meet residents.
11. 50 Leave PP to drive to Eastfield & Batty Piece. Park in Westfield Car Park.
11.55 Arrive Eastfield & Batty Piece wild flower meadows meet David German
12.10 Leave Batty Piece
12.15 Arrive Corner Cottage Back Lane. Park in Cricket club car park and cross the road.
12.25 Leave Corner cottage return to village hall for lunch at 12.30
