Food Bank Shelves Running Low

Back home  /  Latest News  /  Curry Rivel, Drayton and Hambridge Foodbank

There are many families in our community struggling to make ends meet and they are increasingly reliant on the generosity of those of us more fortunate to help put food on the table. We are extremely grateful – as are the families we support – for the donations you have already made, all neatly categorised and stored ready for distribution to those in need. But we have gaps in our shelves which we need to fill with more donations, either as groceries or by making a financial donation. So if you are thinking of popping out to the supermarket, the items most wanted right now are;

  • TINS OF CORN BEEF AND HAM
  • TINS OF CHICKEN IN WHITE SAUCE
  • CEREALS
  • FRAY BENTOS PIES
  • TINS OF SARDINES
  • LONG LIFE MILK, WHOLE & SEMI SKIMMED
  • OAT MILK
  • TINS OF FRUIT

WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT FOOD & MONEY DONATIONS

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT

The Foodbank is located in St Andrews Church Curry Rivel. Volunteers are there to receive and sort donations between the hours of 10.30-11.30 every Wednesday.

If you do find yourself struggling financially, please contact us confidentially on 07716 792760 or 01458 250997
