The Curry Rivel, Drayton and Fivehead Branch of the Royal British Legion celebrated the Legion's 100th Anniversary with a short wreath laying ceremony at 9am on Saturday 15th May 2021. The wreath was laid by the longest serving member and Branch President, General Sir John Learmont.

Our local Branch pre-dates the RBL, having been founded in 1918 and was instrumental in setting up the Legion as we know it today.

The Branch Chairman, Mick Brett said, 'We are looking forward to restarting our fundraising events and activities as soon as we can, and hopefully welcoming new members to the Branch. We are a friendly group of ex-service men and women, and those who want to support our veterans'. Please contact Pip Brett (pipbrett@me.com Tel: 01460 281115 for more details
