What are you planning?

A number of recent applications have piqued interest in Curry Rivel of late;

• Land to the rear of Warwick House, Wiltown 23/01469/FUL
• Land north of Old Gatehouse, Portway 23/01406/OUT
• A proposal for development at Abbey Close (not yet submitted)

and let's not forget, historically but not yet decided

• The Grange, Portway 21/02785/OUT

Whether you agree or otherwise (and so many of you do have an opinion) you can make any comments online on the somerset.gov.uk planning portal by clicking the links which take you directly to the application details – with the exception of Abbey Close of course which has not yet been submitted.

You can read the draft minutes of the last PC meeting here and find what your PC has resolved to do in respect of each of the 2023 applications – you'll need to dig a bit deeper to find out about The Grange from 2021 – though frankly (if Ed is allowed a personal note?) a considerate reworking of this deteriorating site would be welcome, and redeveloping brownfield sites probably should be encouraged.
