Curry Rivel | Things to do at Easter 2024

Despite dire warnings of gusting winds and torrential rains,

there must surely be a few gaps in the weather to enjoy some Easter holiday activities to keep the kids/grandkids amused. Or pick an interesting museum or historic home to visit to keep warm and dry.

Here are some suggestions;

Visit Cheddar Gorge, which holds millions of years of history within its limestone cliffs.
Enjoy Easter Coffee, Crafts and Hot Cross Buns at The Old School Room here in Curry Rivel at 10.30 a.m. Saturday 30th
Participate in a National Trust Easter Egg Hunt around some of their properties, locally Lytes Cary Manor and Montacute House, though there are plenty more.
Visit The Museum of Somerset in Taunton – buzzing with spring-themed Easter holiday events.
Try an Easter Sculpture Trail at Coates English Willow
Find out what the Somerset Rural Life Museum, Glastonbury has to offer – apparently there are egg-citing things to do!
Join in an Egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt at Fleet Air Arm Museum
Experience an Easter Steam Up at Westonzoyland Pumping Station Museum
See what's on offer at Ferne Animal Sanctuary 's Spring Fayre and Easter activities
and just down the road the Funfair arrived on Cocklemoor yesterday.
