Annual New Year's Day Road Run

This year's tractor road run starts at 11.00 a.m sharp from Thorney Lakes and follows a circular route via Muchelney, Drayton, Curry Rivel, Wick, Burrowbridge, Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre, Greinton and back via Nythe Road, High Ham, Somerton, Long Sutton, Long Load, Muchelney Ham and back to Thorney Lakes!

The full route (along with a blow up of the bit through Drayton, Curry Rivel, Wick and along to Burrowbridge) is shown on the plan attached so make sure you pick your spot to watch them go by. The Jan 2023 run saw about 115 tractors, vintage and modern, take part, so it should be quite a spectacle. The run is raising money for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, so if you do have any cash left after Christmas, there will be collection buckets at busier points along the way willing to relieve you of it.
