You still have time to sign-up and take part. For just one hour this weekend count the birds that land in your garden and help monitor how birds are faring.

It's free, fun and a great way to keep an eye on your local wildlife.

You can get more information and sign up to take part at www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch/ and you'll find hints and tips on attracting birds to your garden.

Big Garden Birdwatch Live will stream on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January from 9am. You can tune in for commentary, interviews and chat with special guests and wildlife experts from across the UK. It is also your opportunity to ask our experts any questions you may have and to share pics and stories from your garden with the Big Garden Birdwatch community.

So fill your feeders this weekend – poor old 'Mr Ed' is confined to barracks at the moment on his crutches, so he'll definitely be counting!
