Curry Rivel, Drayton and Hambridge Foodbank

Back home  /  Latest News  /  Items most needed 3rd August 2023

Once again, lots of lovely fresh produce made its way to the foodbank this week.

Another big T H A N K Y O U from the families who enjoyed it.

You can drop your garden or allotment surplus off at St Andrew's Church on Wednesday a.m. Volunteers are on site between 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. to accept, sort and deliver this bounty on the same day. So don't' waste those extra courgettes, the beans you can't eat or your spud mountain. Take it to the foodbank,it will be much appreciated.

There are several other places you can leave non-perishable donations

  • St Andrew's Church in Curry Rivel any day – the church is open during daylight hours – and leave it in the North Chapel, which is situated diagonally to the right of you as you enter through the main door
  • St Catherine's Church in Drayton where you will find a box in the porch specifically for the purpose
  • One Stop in Curry Rivel – just ask!
  • St James Church, Hambridge has a box in the porch too
  • make a cash contribution, volunteers can take money or let you have the Food Bank account details so you can organise a direct transfer
