Parish Plan

In 2015, Curry Rivel Parish Council published a Parish Plan. You can download a copy below. This plan covers the period up to 2025, so it's time to create a new one. A Parish Plan (or "Community Review" as it is sometimes called) doesn't have statutory powers, but it is a strong pointer to the Parish Council and other organisations operating in the parish to the way that they should operate.

The Parish Council is getting free advice from the Community Council for Somerset (CCS), and they have provided a route map for making it happen.

The next stage is to set up a Steering Group from the parish, including members of both the Parish Council and the wider community. Its job is to make the Parish Plan update happen, and to make sure that it is properly representative of the whole community.
