David German has spotted a rare Jersey Tiger Moth locally.   Jersey Tiger MothRecent observations (article link below) show that this stunning moth is spreading North from Jersey as summers get warmer in the South of England.  See his Wildlife section for more information on local wildlife.

The photos should be optimized for use on the Internet so no larger that 600 pixels wide and 300kb in size. If you are not sure about these settings or do not have a program to complete this task then use this useful guide and online resizing tool.

Incidentally, we've discovered that the thumbnail version of photos, eg. within articles, are trimmed down.  To see the photo in all its glory, just click on it.
