Village Hall Events Update
The Village Hall has held or participated in two successful event in the last few weeks
Firstly the 'Big Breakfast' held on Sun 9th June was very successful, with many new villagers attending for the first time, and over 130 breakfasts prepared.
The Village Hall team were also in evidence at Curry Rivel Live 2019
The team also prepared and sold food at Curry Rivel Live, and despite the poor weather had a very good weekend.
All funds raised will be used to maintain and improve the Village Hall, with aim of making the hall one of the best in the area. The hall is over 112 years old and is very costly to maintain.
In early September plans are afoot to paint the outside of the hall, and also clean, repair and paint the old steel guttering.
Thanks to the Parish Council for providing a grant to provide two double glazed windows on the front of the hall.
