Tesco Blue Tokens For The Village Hall

If you shop at TESCO, you receive a Blue Token for every transaction, and are asked to vote for an Organisation or Charity for their Community Projects. Curry Rivel Village Hall have submitted a refurbishment to Tesco's 'Bags for Help Scheme', and everyone can vote from May 1st through till 30th June. The project will be one of three, for customers to vote for.

The Village Hall project is to replace existing lighting with Low Energy LED units, which will half the electricity usage for the lighting. The existing lighting is frequently left on unintentionally (often for more than 12 hour), so the new lights will work on sensors ensuring the lights only operate when required.

Remember, the Winner Gets it All with the Vote....... You might think that saving Blue Tokens (ask for one if not offered) and voting for the Curry Rivel Village Hall project in May might be a good idea.... We couldn't possibly comment.....
