The Langport and Curry Rivel PROBUS had a fun-filled talk at their recent meeting. Speaker Edna Russell, a lady well-qualified in Roman history and artefacts, gave a visual presentation which included the history of sexual pursuits during that period. Some scintillating conversation took place during lunch, held at the Drayton Crown, the new venue for PROBUS meetings.
PROBUS is a friendly, welcoming group of men and women and the talks each month are varied and interesting. Those wishing to find out more about the organisation can call Paul Crocker on 01458 252545 or look up the website www.langportandcurryprobus.btck.co.uk.
