A new report from the British Infrastructure Group of MPs has revealed that 16,237 broadband connections in Somerton and Frome fail to reach the proposed minimum broadband download speed.
David Warburton, MP for Somerton and Frome, has joined 55 colleagues from across political parties to co-sign the British Infrastructure Group of MPs' (BIG) latest report, 'Broadband 2.0'.
The report reveals that 16,237 broadband connections in Somerton and Frome are without fast broadband, contributing to as many as 6.7 million broadband connections across the UK failing to achieve speeds above the proposed minimum standard.
