Local MP Promoted To PPS Dept Education

David Warburton, MP for Somerton and Frome, our local MP, was promoted last week by the PM to Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Department for Education.

The new Secretary of State for Education, as we all know is Damian Hinds MP, the Department for Education is responsible for children's services and education including higher and further education policy, apprenticeships and wider skills.
