Severe weather warning in Somerset for ice overnight and potentially treacherous A very cold night is in store, tonight, (Monday, January 2), with temperatures dipping to -2C, and as moister air comes in contact with cold surfaces later, there is the potential for a lot of frost to form, rendering some surfaces hazardous.
Turning to later Tuesday and Wednesday: Tuesday looks like being dry with scattered patches of sunshine with temperatures staying around 6C. Wednesday is set to be mainly cloudy, with a high of 8C, though temperatures will drop to -3C overnight.
