Have you ever wondered what it takes to row across an ocean? Learn how four young women decided to take on the 3000 mile Atlantic Challenge Race head on, including one from Curry Rivel — Kirsty Barker
Rowing the Ocean to Save the Ocean from the plastics crisis.
An evening talk with Kirsty Barker from the team about what it took to get to the start line and take on the Atlantic, including images and video from the crossing.
Donations will be accepted on the door for Surfers Against Sewage who are working in our communities to raise
awareness and reduce single-use plastic.
You can reserve a free ticket for this event by going to: rftotalk.eventbrite.co.uk , which will give us an idea of the numbers attending. However, last-minute walk-ins will also be welcome.
The talk will start at 7:30 pm in the Village Hall. There will be refreshments available and time for questions afterwards.
