befriending by phone

Are you feeling isolated and anxious because of coronavirus? A new service is being set up linking people who are on their own with others in a similar position. The idea came from a local resident who felt in need of conversation and there were other people in a similar position.

The idea is that you can chat with them over the phone or via the Internet if you have that facility

At this time our whole community is working together to provide what assistance is necessary. This includes the Parish Council, the churches and the team of local volunteers set up to provide support during the current crisis.

If you would value conversation with someone else also managing alone, and/or perhaps pray with them,or maybe specifically talk with a church minister, then please do get in touch.

Please call our dedicated community support number 07716 792760 or e mail

Your will soon be contacted by a 'phone friend'!

Do be in touch if you would like support.

Together we are stronger
