Advance warning East Street Drayton to close for Road works

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along East Street from Phase 1; the junction with Law Lane, westwards for 70m and Phase 2; the junction with North Street, eastwards for
30m for a total distance of 100 metres.

This order will enable Wessex Water to carry out phased works to replace a fire hydrant. The Order becomes effective on 21 May 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to start on 26 May 2020 and last for 5 days.
