A big thank you to all our lovely customers who braved the atrocious rain and winds to support our craft fair. We had a wide range of goodies on sale including individually designed fabrics, lampshades, macramé, knitwear, felted gnomes, sparkly key rings, wooden decorations, origami boxes, jewellery and cards to name but a few.
It wouldn't have been possible, of course, without our fantastic stall holders Hazel L, Lisa, Tania, Jo, Dorothy, Anona and Jenny and our support team Claire, Ginny, Paul, Chris and Jeff, without whose help there wouldn't have been any refreshments or tables, chairs and notices put up.
Thank you to the One Stop for their kind donation of biscuits and to Ilminster Community Choir, who knowing that their members wouldn't be able to come in person to the fair, sent a generous donation to the Food Bank fund. Our thoughts were with the stall holders who were either ill on the day or unable to get to Curry Rivel due to the weather.
Despite the weather we raised £97 for the Curry Rivel, Drayton and Hambridge Food Bank through donations, refreshments and the 'Guess the name of the Snowman' competition. The Snowman was kindly knitted and donated by our very own Hazel. The Snowman's name was Snowdrift and was guessed correctly by a resident of Curry Rivel. Congratulations!
We hope to see you at our next fair when, with a little bit of luck, we'll have much better weather!
