CRiB (Curry Rivel in Bloom) has just finished construction of an unauthorised Bug Bed & Breakfast. The construction, (will retrospective planning permission be required?) has been built on the allotment provided, rent free, by the Heale Lane Allotment Association.

It is highly likely that the Bug B&B was constructed by a well built, bearded man (shown in one of the photos), assisted by a slim woman accomplice, as yet unnamed, do you know these 'cowboy builders'?

We further understand that the local Brownie Pack maybe involved in a cheap labour scheme, which will involve them catering and preparing favourable conditions for possibly hundreds of Bed & Breakfast Bug Life.........

On Thurs, July 12th. the judges from South West in Bloom will be in the village between 10-12am; tubs and baskets have appeared in front of houses and things are looking great.

The judges will be looking at verges and curbs, noting weeds and accumulated debris, so keep litter picking, weeding and and general tidying up.
