What a treat for our residents.
Music was enjoyed from 1:30 to 1 am.
Such a great atmosphere all day.
Activities included a bouncy castle, face painting, circus workshop, slides, craft tent plus the classic American car and bike club came along and so did the local fire engine from Somerton.
It was organised and managed so well by Simon Champion. Well done! We must never underestimate the amount of work, planning, and meetings that happens before the event.
The village hall made a profit of over £1,100, which makes such a difference to the improvements that can be made to the building.
Complaints made of noise after 1pm ??? That was from a party in Drayton — maybe the Western Gazette could get the facts right?
