The Firehouse, Curry Rivel, Somerset has won Newcomer of the Year at the John Smith's Great British Pub Awards

This prestigious competition, which has been running for 17 years recognises the best pub operators in the country. The competition sees pubs from across Britain enter in the hope of winning one of the industry's most sought after accolades.

The awards recognised as "the one to win" by licensees; attract hundreds of entries from thriving pubs around the UK.

The awards evening took place on Thursday 7th Sep 2017 at the Hilton, Park Lane, London.... Well no-one told us...

The pub, based in Curry Rivel, Somerset, is a family run operation and has proven a massive hit since first opening its doors following a major overhaul in May 2016.
