'Email the Editor' has received the following request for help (email address withheld).... Can You help?
Are you related to Daniel Rowsell?.... Do you know the history of the Queen Victoria Inn in Curry Rivel?....
Was there a Queen Victoria Inn in Curry Rivel? One of the existing pubs, renamed? Have you any photos?

Dear Editor
I am researching my family tree. I have found my great great grandfather Daniel Rowsell. With his wife Mary and young family in a Queen Victoria Inn at Curry Rivel.
I can't remember if it was (off the top of my head) the 1851 or 1871 census. I would love to find out more about this Inn, but can only find a crown and Victoria pub in the village and wondered if it's one of the same place.
I emailed the crown and Victoria pub explaining my family but as yet gave yet have had no reply.
Can you shed/ help me on the one as I would love to know the history and have some photos of the Queen Victoria Inn.
Thanking you for any help
