.Now is the time to start thinking about what entries you will be putting into the Show. Although it is called a 'Flower Show', it covers a variety of different classifications, including Vegetables – Flowers – Fruits – Flower Arranging – Home Made Cakes, Jams, Jellies, Sugar Craft etc. and a Men Only Section for Fruit Cakes & Quiches, also included will be:
Decorative Section Class
a). Home grown plant material to predominate – fruit and vegetables can be included.
Not to exceed 18" (46cm) overall.
b). Britain in Bloom – Flowers and foliage for a Hall Table to be viewed from the front. Not to exceed 18" by width and depth – height unlimited.
c). Gardeners' Delight – An arrangement to include a cup and saucer. Not to exceed 9" (23cm) overall.
Children's Section:
Children up to 8 years of age.
a). Birthday card for a best friend,
b). Garden on a plate,
Children 9 to 12 years of age.
a). Birthday card for a friend's 13th birthday.
b). Garden on a plate.
Open Class Photography Section – (photographs 7" x 5" unmounted)
a). Curry Rivel in Bloom display.
b). Dawn.
c). Photograph of your choice.
Painting Section
a). Single plain glass or glass vase.
b). A painting of your choice,
Craft Section
a). Matinee Jacket.
b). Embroidered Tray Cloth,
