The Curry Rivel Art Group are proud to display their work in the Village Hall Foyer. Why not come along and see them for yourself. For more information contact Contact Laraine Hayes 253126 laraine.rae1@gmail.com We were asked by the Village Hall Committee if we would like to brighten up the foyer with some of our paintings to make it more attractive and welcoming. We hung our first display for the foyer of the Village Hall on Monday 20th February 2017. There has already been interest shown and someone bought one of the paintings on Monday, of which 10% commission will be donated to the Village Hall funds. Depending on availability and productivity, there will be a rotation of our painting.

The Curry Rivel Art Group is a great way to relax in a friendly group and develop your own creativity. You don't need be a expert and people of all abilities are welcomed.

We meet on Mondays 9.45 am -12.45 pm in the Chatham Room of the Village Hall (except Bank Holiday Mondays). Bring your own materials and do your own project . Fee is £2.00 per session with tea/coffee and biscuits included.

We are like-minded people who find art stimulating, relaxing, challenging, exciting, frustrating and inspiring. Yes all those feelings are expressed in creativity. We do not have a teacher and each person does "their own thing" with various mediums: -- drawing, watercolour, acrylics, oils, inks and/or other mediums.

We participated in the Christmas Tree Festival at the United Reform Church with a wooden log-built Christmas Tree, which was made for us by a member's husband and we decorated it with miniature paintings and an artist's wooden manikin dressed as an angel!

Last year we displayed some of our work in the Stable Cafe in Fivehead and a painting was sold.
