The Robert Sewers Village Hall is an excellent facility for the village, having three meeting rooms of different sizes plus catering facilities and furniture. It has seen many parties, meetings, dances and celebrations, and it is vital that the people of the village support it. Anyone can book it, and you will find details on this website. The 200 Club was formed to raise funds to help with the maintenance of the Village Hall and plays a major part in making finance available to ensure the future of this facility. We need new members of the 200 Club, which not only funds the Hall but also gives you the chance to win prizes.
The annual subscription is £10, renewable on the anniversary of the first payment, and can be paid by way of cash, cheque or banker's order. Half of the total income is paid out in prizes, with two draws taking place during the year in July and December, and the other half goes towards the ongoing maintenance of the Village Hall. The next draw will be held on 22nd December and each draw offers 13 prizes, with the first number drawn being the main prize. The names of the winners appear in the Curry Rivel News. Anyone wishing to join the 200 Club should contact Myfanwy Ashton on 01458 251877. |
