On Thursday 29 September 2011, at 4.30 pm, the Robert Sewers Hall in Curry Rivel, was transformed into a different world, with camouflage and eerie music. Spiders, snakes, lizards, stick insects, cockroaches, snails, to name but a few, had taken over! Never fear, it was BUGFEST, a company, who had come to entertain the Curry Rivel Brownies and Rainbows and give them a unique, hands-on, learning experience in the world of bugs and insects. The girls loved it, and all revelled in the opportunity of pretending to be some very weird looking creatures as well as holding and stroking a whole host of bizarre and frightening looking ‘things’. Even the leaders put on a brave face and held a very large, furry spider! There are currently spaces for Rainbows please ring Nicky on 01458 252429 for details.
