Every second Sunday in the month Sunday School runs concurrently with the morning service. The children begin the start of the service with the rest of the congregation before retiring to the Hall at the back of the Chapel after a hymn. There they have time and space together for a story, song, ‘making’ activity (they make wonderful macaroons!) before joining with the congregation again, sharing with us what they have discovered and done.

In 2010 the Sunday School took charge of the Nativity Service in December and retold the story of the Shepherds. Those of us in the congregation got the chance to make baubles with simple strips of paper and a staple which were then hung on the tree to very striking effect. The service rang along the lines of a sunday school gathering; songs, bible story, activity, contemporary story and lots of chatter and fun!

Sunday School activities in 2011 include:
       Sunday School Outing-Brewhouse Theatre trip on Friday 25th     February to see 'The Elves And The Shoemaker' followed by  tea.               

Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 23rd April, Easter Saturday, in the garden at Orchard View.
       BBQ Friday 15th July.
       Presentation of Harvest baskets on Sunday 18th September.
       Nativity Service on Sunday 13th December.
Sunday School is for children 3 years of age and over and meets monthly (apart from during August).
