St. Andrew’s has a four part, traditional Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) choir which has been a feature of this church for a very long time.  We also have a Music Group, and Bell Ringers. The Choir at St Andrew's 2009

The Choir leads the music and singing at the morning service, at other times as needed, and various concerts are performed during the year.
The choir members, plus anyone else who enjoys singing, form ‘The Benefice Singers’.  They meet monthly and sing at about six events per year.

The Music Group welcomes anyone who plays any kind of musical instrument reasonably well.  Formed primarily to accompany Family / All Age services in the Benefice, and the Christmas ‘Carols on the Green’, it has also featured in concerts and ‘Songs of Praise’ services.  Rehearsals are by arrangement, depending on engagements.

The Bell Ringers are a welcome sound as they practice on Wednesday evenings, as well as for Church services.  Jan_2010_photo_Bell_Ringers_060bFounded in 1898, the Guild of Change Ringers ring for services and other events.  The team is well equipped and keen to teach this rewarding skill.
