The Club is part of an international organisation first formed in the early 1920's in Canada. The name is an acronym of PROfessional and BUSiness and the Clubs are originally sponsored by Rotary Club, but once formed are completely autonomous and its affairs conducted under the authority of its own membership. The Club's aims are to promote good fellowship and activities of mutual interest for retired and semi-retired business and professional men.
