The Curry Rivel News has said a fond farewell to Tina Geary who has been a member of the News Group for over six years, responsible for advertising initially and then the finance role in the last couple of years. She has been a key, hard working member of the group and we shall all miss her input. Happily a replacement has been found; Paul Deacon has volunteered to act as treasurer to the News. Since moving to the village in 1991, Paul has been a keen supporter of village events and organisations. He was a governor at the primary school for several years and when Chair of Governors he played a key role in bringing to fruition the long held dream of a school hall. His years of experience in business and commercial expertise will be a great asset to the smooth running of the newsletter’s finances. Add this page to your favorite Social Bookmarking websites |
